This article brings together the Indian lines of credit (LoCs) and grant projects that Diplo's country guides record, with the amounts exactly as each brief states them. It is compiled from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) bilateral briefs summarised in Diplo's country guides. The briefs use different currencies (US dollars, euros and Indian rupees), count at different points in time, and some give cumulative totals while others list individual credits. For that reason the figures are not added up or ranked here. Where a brief gives a total, the total is quoted; where it lists individual credits, a few are named.

Reading these figures

Totals and single credits are not the same kind of figure, and the briefs carry different dates, so the numbers above should not be compared as a league table. Some briefs also record credits that were reduced or cancelled, or that are partly undisbursed, and the country guides give those details. Amounts are quoted in the currency and form each brief uses.
