How to credit Diplo

Credit "Diplo (diplo.in)" with a link where possible, for example: Source: Diplo, www.diplo.in, CC BY 4.0. The facts themselves come from official sources (the MEA Protocol Division register, the President of India's credentials ceremonies, foreign ministries, government visa portals and the missions' own websites), and each row says which.

Data is as current as the last reading of each source; see what changed and how we verify.

For journalists

  • Diplo is an independent directory of the foreign diplomatic community in India. It is not a government website.
  • A head of mission is shown only when a credentials ceremony of the President of India names the person, or the MEA register names them and a second source confirms it.
  • Missions can manage their own page, publish events and notices, and post jobs and tenders.
  • The Diplo name and the "D" mark may be used to refer to Diplo. The logo is at /logo-512.png.
