Outcomes of the Prime Minister's visit to Oman included the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, MoUs on maritime heritage and museums, agriculture and allied sectors, and higher education, an Executive Programme on millet cultivation and agri-food innovation, and adoption of a Joint Vision Document on Maritime Cooperation.

Prime Minister Modi visits Oman; India and Oman sign Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an Official Visit to Oman from 17-18 December 2025 at the invitation of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, in the year marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The two sides welcomed the signing of the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and reviewed cooperation under the Joint Vision Document adopted in December 2023.
