This article gives the contact details of the Embassy of the Republic of Congo in New Delhi, the Republic of the Congo's head of mission and national day, and the consular, travel and business support information contained in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) bilateral brief of April 2026. Contact details, the head of mission and the absence of consulates are taken from the MEA Protocol Division register, read on 24 September 2026.
Embassy of the Republic of Congo in New Delhi
The Republic of the Congo is represented in India by an Embassy. The register gives its details as:
- Address: D 6/13 C, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi -110057
- Telephone: +91-11-49050451
- Email: ambaco2.inde@gmail.com
The register lists no website for the Embassy. It also lists no office hours or services, and none are given here. Readers should telephone or email the Embassy to confirm how it receives visitors and applications.
These details are as recorded on 24 September 2026. Telephone numbers, email addresses and office holders can change, and the MEA Protocol Division register is the official Indian record to check them against.
Head of mission
The register lists the head of mission as H.E. Mr. Raymond Serge Bale, Ambassador.
Consulates
The register lists no consulates and no honorary consulates of the Republic of the Congo in India. The Embassy in New Delhi is therefore the only office of the Republic of the Congo in India recorded in the register, and readers in any part of India should contact it directly.
National day
The Republic of the Congo's national day is 15 August (National Day).
India's Embassy in Brazzaville
According to the MEA brief of April 2026, India's diplomatic Mission in Brazzaville opened in November 2019.
On 10 July 2020, the Embassy of India, in association with the Association of Indians in ROC, organised a chartered flight from Brazzaville to Mumbai under the Vande Bharat Mission of GOI, to evacuate 145 stranded Indian nationals to India.
Support for Indian exporters
The Embassy of India in Brazzaville also works with Indian business organisations. On 23 January 2026, it conducted a Virtual Interactive Session on Business Opportunities in the Food and Allied Sector in the Republic of Congo, in association with the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO).
FIEO's Director and Deputy Director took part, alongside over 60 Indian buyers and exporters seeking to explore market potential in Congo. From the Embassy of India, the Ambassador and the Second Secretary (Head of Chancery and Commerce) attended. On the Congolese side, representatives of private sector companies, including the Regal Group and Burotec Group, joined the discussions.
The brief states that the session gave Indian exporters a platform to understand market demand, investment opportunities and partnership prospects in Congo's food and allied sector, and that direct exchanges with Congolese stakeholders allowed participants to explore collaboration avenues.
Visas and consular matters
The brief contains no information on visa requirements, e-visas, consular procedures or scheduled air services between India and the Republic of the Congo. This guide therefore gives no visa fees, processing times or eligibility rules.
Indian nationals planning travel to the Republic of the Congo should check current requirements with the Embassy of the Republic of Congo in New Delhi. Congolese nationals planning travel to India, including those taking up ITEC or ICCR places, should check current requirements with India's Embassy in Brazzaville.
Honorary consuls
The Republic of the Congo has no honorary consuls in India, according to the register. Where a country does appoint honorary consuls, they have limited powers, so visa, passport and other consular requirements for the Republic of the Congo should always be confirmed with the Embassy in New Delhi.
